Rachel Maynard
Doctor of Audiology
Rachel joined Karr Audiology Hearing & Balance Center on January 3, 2023. She has 13 years of experience as a licensed audiologist and has worked in ENT and hospital practice settings in addition to private practice. Rachel graduated from Ohio University with her Clinical Doctorate of Audiology in 2012. Her favorite part of audiology is working with hearing aid patients.
Rebecca Meier
Doctor of Audiology
Dr. Rebecca Meier earned her Master of Arts in Audiology in 2002 from Ohio University and her Doctorate of Audiology (Au.D.) in 2006 from Salus University. Her clinical career has primarily been based in university settings, though she has also worked in medical centers, otology/ENT clinics, and currently private practices. Her clinical interests include the diagnosis and treatment of hearing, tinnitus and balance disorders across the lifespan.
Katheryn Seymour Monk
Doctor of Audiology
Katheryn Seymour Monk, Au.D., is an audiologist with 30 years of clinical experience in the assessment and treatment of hearing loss and tinnitus. Her background includes more than 20 years working in ENT practices, which included complicated diagnostics and treatment of many disorders of the ear and hearing. The last 8-10 years of her career have been in private practice audiology clinics, where she honed her already extensive skill set working with patients of all ages with hearing loss and tinnitus.
Whitney Knipp
Doctor of Audiology
Whitney is an audiologist with a strong interest in communication and patient-centered care. She earned her clinical doctorate in audiology from Ohio University, graduating in May 2025. Whitney is dedicated to building meaningful, collaborative relationships with her patients and providing thoughtful, individualized audiologic care. Her clinical interests include the evaluation and management of hearing loss, tinnitus, and balance disorders.
